Misty Krueger is an Associate Professor of English and the Honors Director at the University of Maine at Farmington. They were the 2017 Jane Austen Society for America's International Visitor and spent six weeks in Chawton researching juvenilia and women’s writings and partaking in the amazing events celebrating the 200th anniversary of Austen’s death. Misty has given many talks and has published many articles on Austen as well as other long eighteenth-century women writers and Restoration and eighteenth-century drama. Misty is writing a book about Austen and monsters, and they have edited a volume of essays for Bucknell University Press called Transatlantic Women Travelers, 1688-1843. Misty also serves as the co-chair of the ASECS Women’s Caucus.
